Topic: K12 Handhelds - The Power of Using Handheld Computers in Education

In this virtual get together, Amy will give an overview of the various types of handhelds available and will discuss the pros and cons of each. She will discuss the different applications that are available for handhelds. The applications demonstrated and discussed will go beyond the basic organizer functionality of the handheld and will be specifically educational in nature. This will include administrative, communicative, collaborative, and teaching and learning applications for administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
