CAPE Sponsored Virtual Event - Videoconference

Topic: Holocaust Survivor

Tuesday, May 11, 2004
1:00 - 3:00 PM
Presenter: Community Academy of Philadelphia

You are invited to join Community Academy of Philadelphia when they proudly welcome Holocaust survivor, Michael Zal, for a multi-point videoconference event. Mr. Zal will be presenting on his personal experiences of suffering and survival through the horrors of the Holocaust. Michael and his wife, Libby, have made it a personal mission to share his experiences with school students to help them better put history into context and to offer a reminder of the importance of humanity at any stage of history. His presentation will have a silent video as a backdrop and will also include pictures and a comparative discussion of the Zal's recent visit to the hideout of Anne Frank. This presentation will offer students the opportunity to relive history through the eyes and description of a man who experienced one of history’s lowest points and has lived to share his story.

To schedule your campus for this event, please contact your campus CAPE Operations Committee Representative who can Register Online for your site to participate.
