CAPE's Online World Language Institute (COWLI)
Using both online environments and classroom-based videoconferencing, CAPE has helped provide Japanese I, II, III, IV, Chinese I and Arabic I courses to over 600 high school students over the past four years. Some of these students are receiving 3 college credits from Seton Hill University for the course through an innovative partnership between Seton Hill and CAPE. s = These classes are based on Seton Hill University schedule thereby meeting three days a week for 50 minutes each and running 6 weeks shorter than the other classes. High School students are welcome and encouraged to enroll in these classes with the understanding that they will have more independent work and the course will move at a quicker pace.
